Everyone wants to know!
Well, it took some time for paperwork... which was further extended because while Laureldale Athletic Association's RUN, ROAST, 'N ROCK raised funds for about 5-6 months of my treatment, they wanted to keep going!!! They continued to fundraise long after the event to further my total recovery. :) Aren't they cool!?! As if that weren't enough, they have engaged other clubs who are interested in fundraising for my total recovery and I hear there's already a charitable Bingo in the works! HA! Thank you all for your interest and support to help me fully recover! If you missed out and still want to participate, like I said, they are STILL at it! CLICK HERE to help. P.S. I put the event marketing and ticketing together. Did it grab your attention?

Visit: laureldaleaa.betterworld.org/campaigns/STR Hey Kids who like food, I was directed to try yet another diet. GOOD NEWS! It's surprisingly tasty. In fact, I'm shocked.
It is the AIP Diet (Autoimmune Paleo) and if you know me then you WILL NOT BELIEVE what I don't care about consuming anymore...more on that in a minute. To make it easier on everyone involved, we invested in a meal plan with all the recipes, menus, and shopping lists already created for you and OMFG did it make it a million times easier on ALL of us. You can check them out HERE. Did I mention I'm surprised how tasty the food is? Did I mention I'm NOT getting paid to say this? :) Back to the SHOCKING news...AIP eliminates sugar, dairy, chocolate, nuts, seeds, beans, certain spices, grains, nightshades, eggs, and all that is like, whatever, been there, done that but get this... no booze and NO COFFEE. I just about fell off my seat. I said NO for weeks. Now well into my second week I STILL can't believe how I don't care. I don't care! About coffee! OR Booze!!!! It's a HUGE deal! I went back to my native state, drinking tea. I couldn't be more pleased to have those booze and coffee monkies off my back. Stay tuned for more newly compliant recipes. Eat along with me. XOXOXOXO Have a favorite local business who could use the perfect opportunity to showcase their products and services?
TAG THEM in this post now so they can contact us to coordinate. Everyone wins! Our guests at Run, Roast, 'n Rock will be mostly local so, donating a door prize to support our fundraising efforts will feature their generous act of goodwill and promote their business directly to their new clientele! We will be raving about them at our event. https://fb.me/e/1mCRO8F4Y I will not stop raving about how awesome this store and the people there are.
If you are in the area, go try them out yourself: https://www.facebook.com/ebenezergroceries Avid Deals is pretty sweet too. It's official. I am having the coolest fundraiser, ever.
Lucky for me I have some exceptionally talented and extremely generous family members and friends who are making this happen. I can't wait to give you all the details!!! ...but just a teaser for you today. ;) Ladies and Gentlemen!
It's been a while. I have been going hard these past several months, eagerly planting Recycle for Lyme seeds across the world and watching them grow in delight. My sincerest gratitude to everyone who has so passionately adopted my stubborn little obsession and nurtured it with love. If you don't think your enthusiasm, your trip to drop off your donations, asking your Dr. to participate, collecting at your event or within your own business makes an impact, think again. What we do together is HUGE. The response is worldwide. The impact is more than just monetary. It relieves financial burden, helps people heal, protects our home, and passes out warm fuzzies like they are going out of style. Patients are ecstatic to help other patients with their trash. Businesses hosting collection are seeing increase in traffic and sales. One business said seeing people go out of their way just to drop off their recycling donations restored their faith in humanity. (I can't even.) Trust in that the effects of your positive actions are far reaching and exceed your wildest expectations. Revel in the feels my friends, you deserve them. I love being on this journey with you. <3 I recently flew across country and the airline had wifi that displayed a map that showed you exactly where the plane was flying over in real time! (I was totally entertained.)
It took me a little while to recognize that literally in every single state we flew over, there were people doing my thing, participating in Recycle for Lyme. WOW. What an EStephanie (what an epiphany is called when I have one)! That was cool. Thank you to ALL my friends for blowing my mind and making it happen. XOXOXOXOX Hi! While I'm recovering from an acute illness that has halted my protocol progress and my walking is worse than ever, things are steadily improving on the Recycle for Lyme front.
I'm happily consumed with all things growth and guidance oriented. And the strangest thing, people are now saying what I've been saying- We're obsessed! I'm so grateful and relieved to be surrounded by excited people who get it! I LOVE this nationwide movement. I'm looking forward to sharing some better news on the physical front, but in the meantime, celebrate my first Vitamin and Supplement shipment with me: https://www.facebook.com/groups/WeRecycleforLyme/permalink/2036586153263159/ I love it when you start singing a song and discover it's far more appropriate than you ever anticipated... After my let down of my gorgeous shoes arrival, I got THRILLING news.
One morning I was checking my email, just as I do, and happened to click to check on a tab I rarely bother with. Was it social? forums? updates? who knows, doesn't matter. So I notice an email from Terracycle, which I enjoy because sometimes they give you notice of bonuses for shipment in whatever program. But that day! OH that DAY! That little subject line whispered sweet everythings I've been waiting...5 years to hear. "Recycle your vitamin and supplement packaging!" I lost my damn mind. I have been wishing and hoping and emailing the company and even meeting with them... two or three times? to try to get a vitamin and supplement collection underway for YEARS and there it was just... fallen in my lap. Luckily, Recycle for Lyme is already established, running two programs nationwide. So I did not hesitate, I may have squealed with delight, a bit? I freaked out, signed up (those few seconds waiting for the confirmation that it was added to the account were PACKED with suspense), edited websites, reformatted forms and extensive background processes, etc. and then didn't shut up about it, harassing strangers all day long to start their collections NOW, every day, all day long. I didn't stop yet. Actually, I'm telling you now too. I guess I don't talk about it while sleeping... but, I'm not sure. It's possible I might still. I wouldn't know. Well, check out the collection flyer for the new program. If you want to print one, click it. If you want to get involved, I'd love your help. You can tell people to do it too. Like anyone selling vitamin and supplements? They can do it. I can't get off https://www.facebook.com/groups/WeRecycleforLyme/ It's beyond addiction. So stop by there, join, ask questions. And the sign up for the program, label requests, and all deets are: http://tickedofffoundation.org/recycleforlyme Hey, all the cool kids are doing it. OH, and I did not yet remind you, it's Free. Fund grants for Lyme patients in crisis with your trash. Do it. Now. XOXOXOX Just tried on the first pair of heels I've bought in years. NOW I remember why I quit heels, NO strength in ankles! Well, let's just see if that keeps me from fashion... ...I must be feeling better, I'm brazen an full of sass!
Just wanted to quick check in to tell you I'm quite pleased with the very attentive medical care I'm getting. I'm having continued improvement and have returned to being social! Look out, you might see me soon. ...and I'll be moving better!
Hey there! I've been away for a while, due to a number of reasons, all to do with healthcare. Surprise!
I had been excitedly posting my steps monthly but I seemed to be suspiciously walking less and less until my steps were at zero. It was then I was certain my tracking app had become compromised! So, I've not been sharing them any longer. :( I have, however, been making forward progress. I have being ridding myself of some heavy metals and pesticides and been pleased to see near immediate improvements! Especially in my walking! I have also enjoyed a return to more clarity in my thinking and my vision. While I am not where I was, this improved function is a considerable relief. Now please enjoy a shot of just one day of not drugs. ;) I literally do not recall the last time i could kick both legs at the same pace to swim. HAPPY SUMMER! My goodness! I forgot to update you! I've been meaning to do it all month now. I even teased you about it last month. I've just been out doing SO MUCH WALKING, I am afk! Here's my completed May walking chart! And if THAT isn't cool enough... check THIS out!!!
People who are seeing me recently, even people who don't yet know me well are noticing... I am walking. I am walking better and faster. I am walking more steadily and more sure. It's even been suggested that I often don't look as though I require the assistive devices... Look out for my May chart! Good times! |
